Spiced Vanilla Sugar

Add a pinch of Spiced Vanilla Sugar to coffee, tea or other drink. Also great for baking. sprinkling on oatmeal, scones, coffee cakes, ice cream and fruit.

  • With a sharp knife, slice vanilla bean from end to end and stuff into air tight jar.
  • Add the rest of the seasonings and then fill jar with sugar.
  • Cover and shake well.  Let sit for three weeks.
  • Open jar, and sift some sugar into a small container or sugar bowl.  Add more sugar to the jar to cover spices and screw on lid.  Refill and replace, as needed.

Notes

Recipe can be easily doubled, tripled or more.
