Air Fryer Perfect Cinnamon Toast

  • Mash softened butter with a fork or back of spoon and add in sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and salt. (If using the pepper, add that in now too>0
  • Stir to completely combine.
  • Spread one six of mixture onto bread, from end to end, making sure to completely cover the entire surface.
  • Place as many slices into your air fryer basket or onto your air fryer trays/racks as will fit.
  • Cook at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from Air Fryer and cut diagonally.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

A small amount of salt will allow the sweetness to really come through.
If using thick cut bread, use more cinnamon butter per slice.
You are going to love this recipe so much and I suggest making up a double or triple batch, so that you have your flavored butter ready to go. We store ours in a I love this so much I make a double batch and store it in a small Lock N Lock and then take out what we will need and let it get to room temperature.
While I love homemade Ghee I thought I would try it in this recipe, but it doesn't work. The sugar does not caramelize as well since there is a lack of water content.

Flavor Varieties

  • A touch of freshly ground pepper gives the toast an elegant flavor. Don't be afraid to try the pepper, just a small grind of your pepper mill is all that is needed.
  • Nutmeg is nice too, but go very, very easy.
  • For a really fantastic and unusual variety of air fryer cinnamon toast, follow this recipe method, but use my Cardamom Spiced Vanilla Sugar {Indian Coffee Sugar} mixed with the softened butter instead. OMG, what an awesome cinnamon toast it makes. That will blow you away!
