1teaspoonFlavor G-d Ketchup Seasoningthis is the only product I like from this company. Using the ketchup seasoning gives the flavor of ketchup without adding extra carbs
Add ground beef to hot skillet. Use a meat chopper/masher or spatula to finely break up the meat. Keep breaking it apart, so that there are no clumps.
Add 1/2 of all seasonings to meat (Worcestershire Sauce, mustard, ketchup seasoning, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, ketchup seasoning and pepper). Mix through the meat very well.
Keep cooking the ground beef until almost browned.
Pour off excess oil (rinse meat if desired).**
Place skillet back onto heat and continue cooking. (If you rinsed the meat, before adding the meat back to the skillet, add 1 teaspoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil to skillet and then dump in the meat.)
Add the other half of the seasonings to the skillet (Worcestershire Sauce, mustard, ketchup seasoning, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, ketchup seasoning and pepper).
Add 2 Tablespoons of fresh water and mix through. Stir for one minute.
Turn off heat and let skillet stay on stove until you have gathered the prepared vegetables, dressing and cheese.
Assemble the Big Mac Salad Bowls
Give the meat another stir and then divide the cooked ground beef (or turkey) into two (or four) serving bowls.
Drizzle a little dressing over each bowl (just a little).
Sprinkle a thin layer of cheese over meat.
Divide the lettuce evenly between the bowls and spread out to cover the meat.
Squirt as much dill pickle relish as desired over lettuce.
Drizzle more dressing over the lettuce.
Sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the lettuce.
Divide diced tomatoes over each bowl.
Drizzle the rest of the dressing over the salad.
Notes
For non keto and low carbers, this Chef's Fun Foods Gourmet Fries Seasonings is really good. I used it prior to starting a low carb lifestyle.Prepare the topping and the dressing before cooking the meat so that all the topping will be ready to go on top of the hot ground beef.As taste buds are so different and some may prefer less grease or more grease, here are some tips to help you decide, which method of cooking the meat is best for you. I suggest trying this recipe several ways to decide which you like best.** Some people prefer a less animal fatty meat. Use a strainer and rinse the ground beef with water to remove excess oil. Doing this will remove much of the seasoning and a lot of the flavor, so keep that in mind.Ground beef is fatty and while fat is great on low carb, in my opinion, there is already enough fat coming from the Big Mac Dressing. Plus, I tend to use a bit of extra virgin olive oil whenever I can, as it is a good for cholesterol fat. If you do give the meat a rinse, add a little EVOO into the hot skillet and then add the beef back in and finish frying. If you do this method, you would want to add half the seasonings right away and then add the rest of the seasonings after the meat goes back into the skillet. To add moisture back, add 2 Tablespoons of water to the meat.If your meat is very lean and produces little to no grease, go a head and add all the meat seasonings at once. If that is the case, but you still prefer to rinse out some of the grease, you can certainly do that. Just remember to add additional seasonings to the meat.Other people prefer a more flavor and beef fat taste. If this is your preference, just drain out the excess grease, but do not rinse and just cook per the directions.
