Remove the connective tissue and then season roast well with salt, pepper and garlic.
Push the Sauté or Browning button on your Pressure Cooker and add olive oil when hot.
Sear the roast on both sides for about two minutes each side.
Remove roast from the Pressure Cooker cooking pot and add onions and sauté for five minutes and then turn off Pressure Cooker.
Return roast to the Pressure Cooker cooking pot.
Pour in A1 Steak Sauce and broth.
Set the Pressure Cooker to High Pressure and set time for 50 minutes.
When Pressure Cooker beeps, allow a natural release, which will take about 15 minutes.
Optional Vegetables
If vegetables are desired, add them in after the pressure has released and cook at High Pressure for 5 minutes more.
Notes
A rump roast works well too and if you use it, you will need to add 10 minutes of pressure cook time.This roast is so good and with a simple change of sauce, you have a completely different flavor profile.
