I am right on the edge of ordering the CrispLid. My trusty air fryer is falling apart. I could purchase a new air fryer, or purchase the CrispLid. I use my air fryer for wings, fries, ribs, but mostly use my IP for cooking. Will the CrispLid really substitute for another air fryer?
Hi Jane. In my opinion is it not a substitute. It is an add on for the pressure cooker. However, many people are using it as a stand alone air fryer with the pressure cooker. Air Fryers are larger, so more wings can be made at once. It depends on how often you use the air fryer. I use mine a lot. I do however like the fact that I can crisp up stuff right in the pot, rather than moving the food to another dish and put under the broiler or in the air fryer. It also depends on how many you are cooking for with the air fryer. I’ve probably just confused you more. Jill
Thanks for the reply, Jill. I don’t use my air fryer a real lot. Many times I do wings in the pressure cooler than in the AF. Yesterday I did my wings in the AF, standing them up on end, and I could fit more in. I did a 2 1/2 pound bag of wings in one go. I thought that was pretty good, but I can still fit more wings in the IP than the AF. BTW, the wings were your Bang Bang wings…..thank you so much!

How many watts is this rated for, and can you change the temp display to Celsius (i notice it says F on the pics).
Any idea how long it will be before its listed on Amazon? I assume the June 24 release date is for the official site, but they dont ship internationally – amazon does.
