Baja Fish Tacos White Sauce
Dreamy and Creamy, my Baja Fish Tacos White Sauce is based off of one of my favorite Baja Fish Taco joints, called Rubio’s Tacos.
I first sunk my teeth into one of their famous Fish Tacos around 1994, in Tarzana, California.
Called a “Fast Food” restaurant, their food was anything but a fast food joint.
Their Tacos and everything else I have tried, is first class.
My Baja Fish Tacos White Sauce recipes pairs really well with my Air Fryer Baja Fish Tacos.
It is also wonderful on my Air Fryer Southern Catfish Recipe.
Another favorite Fish Taco joint in Florida, is called Rocco’s Tacos.
They make Guacamole right at the table. They use a little of this and a little of that and in just a few minutes, delicious Guacamole is on your table with a warm basket of tortilla chips sprinkled with a little chili powder.
I love their Guacamole so much, that I created my own shortcut recipe, based on their table version.
Be on the lookout for my Homemade Simple Guacamole Recipe.
Lastly, my most favorite Fish Taco joint is located in Rosarito Beach.
A colorful and quaint resort town on the coast of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula is breathtaking.
There is nothing like sitting on a beautiful beach and enjoying freshly made Fish Tacos.
This recipe is so simple as you just add all ingredients to a Small Mixing Bowl.
What Ingredients are in Baja Fish Tacos White Sauce?
- Homemade Instant Pot/GoWise USA Yogurt, or store bought.
- Mayonnaise
- Ground Cumin
- Dill Weed
- Sambal Oelek Ground Chili Paste
- Fresh Lime Juice
- Sea Salt
- Freshly Ground Black Pepper
If you don’t have Fresh Limes, the next best thing to use is True Lime Crystallized Granules.
A little sprinkle and some Fresh Water will exactly replicate the taste of a freshly squeezed Lime.
How to you make Baja Fish Tacos White Sauce?
Glad you asked.
It is so simple.
Grab a good Whisk.
My favorite, is the Stainless Steel Flat Whisk as it does a terrific job. If you don’t have one, grab one. It is THAT good!
Whisk the ingredients, until the Baja Fish Tacos White Sauce is super smooth.
If you are not into Dill Weed, just go a head and leave it out.
However, if you are using this recipe for my Pressure Cooker Shrimp Po Boy Sandwiches, I suggest using the Dill.
Now that your Baja Fish Tacos White Sauce is all mixed up together, place it in the refrigerator.
It is time to start cooking your Air Fryer Baja Fish Tacos!
You might want to get your yummy Simple Corn Salsa for Tacos together too, as it is great inside of my Fish Tacos.
My White Sauce is so delicious and can also be enjoyed on my Air Fryer Salmon Croquettes recipe.
For a change of pace and a Baja California feel, instead of using yummy New Orleans Rémoulade Sauce {Po Boy Sauce} on my Pressure Cooker Shrimp Po Boys, try using my Baja Fish Tacos White Sauce recipe instead.
It is also incredible delicious on my Air Fryer Southern Fried Catfish recipe.
